Paper tape is the plastic free and eco friendly alternative to sellotape. Paper tape is completely recyclable and biodegradable. The idea is that you don't have to separate the paper tape from any paper it has been used on, it can all just go straight into your paper recycling bin. 

Paper tape is currently the only form of wrapping tape that can be recycled. Masking tape, sellotape, duct tape etc are all non-recyclable and need to really go into an ecobrick. If you've ordered from us before you will know that we used paper tape on all our parcels. We also used a lot of old boxes as delivery boxes that we source from a number of corner shops and post offices. Those second-hand boxes often come with old sellotape stuck to them. We remove that and pop it into an ecobrick so that your deliveries are completely plastic free.  

Paper tape might be a bit pricer than sellotape, but this is one where you have to decide to make the investment for the planet.
